Britain faces a number of different economic challenges, including poor productivity, low
growth, and big regional disparities. Yet at the heart of many of these issues is an
overarching problem that needs solving in order to then successfully tackle the others:
the misalignment of talent supply with talent demand.
The 5th Emsi National Conference sets out the Great British Talent Challenge, asking how education providers, economic developers and employers can respond by working closer together to improve the linkage of ongoing talent supply with ongoing talent demand.
The conference is aimed at leaders and decision makers, and will include:
- Keynotes from the fields of education, economic development and employment
- Breakout sessions looking at the talent challenge from the regional perspective
- Plenty of time for Q&A, and lots of time for networking opportunities
